Exclamation New fish having problems, Help?

Alright so yesterday I purchased two new boys, and when I got home noticed that the HM had some black fraying on his fins which I suspect to be fin rot. Also, when I got home today a few rays on my black CT are BRIGHT red, like almost bloody looking. I went ahed and dosed them both with Aquarium salt, but was wondering first off what the problems might be, and other possible treatments?

Please reply if you have any idea, I'm fairly new to this type of health issue.

the black fringe does look like finrot. i believe that you should do the salt treatment (1 tsp per gallon) for apx. 10 days, 100% daily water changes.

i'm not sure about your other problem. good luck!

I'm not really sure what it is but start with the aquarium salt treatment. See if that helps. If things seem to be getting worse then re-evaluate with new symptoms what it could be.
