Omg what is this??

So I came home and opened the tank lid for my VT Betta Monster, and I noticed a large floating mass of bubbles.. What's this?
Keep in mind I am new to Betta Keeping..

Is it disease containing?

It is a bubble nest!!!
Males (sometimes females!) will make bubble nests because they are happy, protecting there territory (I think), or for breeding.
It means that they are healthy.

Though it is a perfectly normal behavior for bettas it is not necessarily a sign that they are happy. That is a common myth ;) It is more of a territorial action and a sign that he will be ready to breed should a female come swimming by. However, it is always a wonderfully rewarding thing to see :)
