Too big of a bubble nest?

Might be weird, but has anybody had a fish try and cover the whole surface with a bubble nest?

this was his nest yesterday



it now cover that whole area you can see right there ( over the plants and pcv pipe) and he has started to build one up on the opposite corner of the tank, only area that "free" is right under the filter


is this normal? or healthy?

Tank is due for a cleaning tomorrow so hopefully he doesn't get

There is no such thing as too big of a bubblenest! :) It means they're happy and healthy, and in the mood to spawn. I've had one boy blow almost 2 inches high of bubbles.

I think, as long as he can still surface to breath, he should be okay. Probably just quite happy, or horny :p

its a 1 gallon, cleaned it out today, switched up his pvc pipe cave too , he seemed to take it all well lol

Zidane loves to bubble nest all in his tank. x3 i think it as a sign that he's healthy and happy. :3
