Revamped tank. Pleased with it!

I am really pleased now. I bought new gravel, got a filter, got a gravel vacuum, got new plants. How do you think it looks? C:

Two of them, actually. Petsmart has them! Though some days there are only really teeny ones avalible. I tend to go back and wait for good days.

And thanks so much! Over the last month I've slowly been replacing all my fake plants with real ones. I love the way it looks.

Nice job.....your tank looks great....can't go wrong with adding live plants...laffs.....so many benefits when you add live plants....natural filters, helps to make the fish feel more secure, provide some natural foods for them to graze on for added nutrition, make their colors pop...etc..........and just plain nice to look at...laffs.......

What size it the tank and what plant species did you add, what kind of lighting...love the black substrate...what kind is it....special plant substrate???

It's a 10 gallon. :P I had the anubais for a while now, and the water wisteria and marmo balls for just like two weeks. Went out shopping though and picked up new gravel and a new filter, along with the floaters (hornwort), which I picked up ALL of that you see in my tank for like $2.50 at this local pet shop. Some of it's a bit brown, but I hope it'll do better with some light.

The gravel's just black gravel from the petco brand. I used it before and was pleased that it didn't mess with my water color. Also, with the manual that actually came with my filter this time, I was able to get the second 'broken' filter working. So now I've got two running in there. I like it since I was worried about water quality on the far side.
