COCONUT diy tannins...question...

I am making a coconut cave...it looks really cool... But I have read it is a good idea to boil it until the water boils clear..that way it doesn't color my tanks water...(not that I would really mind)
However...I have boiled it 3 times for 30-40 minutes each time...The water still is dark every time I boil it...?
Will it ever eventually be clear when I boil it? I am starting to have my doubts...
Should I just stick it in my tank already and see what happens?

When I made my coconut cave, I think I boiled it about 3 times and the water was eventually clear but when I put it in my tank, the water soon became brown. If your worried, you could keep boiling it or just put it in the tank and see what happens. :D
