Unhappy Changing colours???

When I bought my betta today he was blue and red. But after a couple hours in his tank he has seemed to change colours. He is all red now.

Is this normal? Should i be concerned?

I wouldn't be concerned. Bettas are always changing colors. It's possible that he's red with a blue wash, which is why he seemed blue and red in the store. Or he could be a marble - lots of bettas carry the marble gene, which means they can change colors.

My betta is a marble - when I bought him he was blue-green with white tips to his fins (that's called a "butterfly" - the white ends of fins). Now he's very dark blue with a black face and the white ends of his fins are almost completely blue now. It's very interesting!
