"Thing about it is ANY color other than yellow means there IS ammonia but it will never read accurately if you use water treatments that make ammonia safe."

So does this mean that if I condition the tap water with Prime which removes chlorine, chloramine and ammonia and detoxifies nitrite and nitrate and I test my aquarium water for ammonia it will never read accurately???
