Arrow How long will they last?

I was wondering. Would it be ok if the bettas stayed in their cups for a couple weeks? Just until I can move them into their permanent homes.

If you change their water everyday, they should be fine.

They should be okay with daily 100% water changes, but why so long untilt their new homes? D:

I would try finding larger Tupperware containers they can stay in so they have more room, they can survive in the smaller ones, but they probably won't be happy :(

Yes they can hardly turn around in a cup so it'd be like being stuffed in an airplane bathroom for two weeks straight. You'd survive, but you won't be happy.

I bought a 5 litre bucket (about 1.25 gallon) for Leroy's qt "tank" for only $2.... and realize things are even more expensive here in Australia than in the US. So, it shouldn't be hard at all to get an inexpensive, larger container for your fish if you wanted to.

At least get small fishbowls, change them every three days, and return the bowls when you get a permanent home.

It's super easy to find temporary homes. The glass bowl (.75 gal) I used as a temporary home until I set up my girl's 2.5 was $2 at GoodWill. I ran it through the dishwasher MINUS soap, then scrubbed it under hot water to make sure there wasn't any deadly residue on it.

Tubberwear is cheap, too!

You can usually get some nice glass bowls at dollar stores, too. I've got a .25g and a .5g that I got at Dollarama. I would have preferred to go bigger, but it was all they had and was better than the little cups they're in at the stores (IMO).
