Who makes a better pair?

I have four halfmoon bettas, I plan to breed the males for sure, but may hold for a better female, and vice versa for a better male for the ladies. (Sorry about the pictures) So who makes a better pair? (This won't be next week or month, I've done A LOT of research, but I've decided to not jump right in)

The first male is beautiful. One question though, is the red streaking in his fins normal? That can be a sign of to much ammonia in the water.

I noticed that when he arrived (Its hard to tell from the sale picture) but it did clear up after about 24HRs of being in the new tank (after I took him out of his little baggie) So I'm not sure if it was from the trip or before he got here? He's very spunky and loves to come see me when I walk by the tank. He does have a lot of finnage though, so I think he might be butterfly. I will try to get a better picture of him flaring =D

That looks like ammonia to me....clean water clears that up quickly.

I'd be careful breeding the first one. He is a rose tail so breeding him will give you some possible health issues with the fry. I'd hold out for a Super Delta female that complements his color better and to try and cut down on the amount of fry carrying the X Factor http://www.bettaterritory.nl/BT-AABRosetails.htm.

Thank you DarkMoon, you're very helpful. ^^ I shall definitely hold off, Rosetails are pretty but I'd rather have healthy fry.

No problem, I just recently learned about the risks that go along with breeding rosetails too. You can breed rosetails to deltas or super deltas, you just don't want to breed then to a female with excessive branching :)

I'd go with the white green male and the green MG female. The white female's caudal looks too round to produce good HM's.
