what is this!!!???

i was at petco when i saw to halfmoon bettas with a weird looking tail.. i was able to take some bad quality pictures, the they have finrots. the margin of the tail was black..is that a bacteria that is eating their tails :S

yep that is fin rot eating away at their once lovely fins! breaks my heart and none of the workers care!

fin rot, set on by bad water conditions and tail biting. :d you can see the chunks missing. poor boys. D: good, clean water would set that right.

you should adopt all of them and heal them then send them out to people on this website once they are cured. i would buy one!

poor guys .. im going to adopt one of them ( i would adopt both but i dont have a lot of space, time and money :/) so what do u guys recommend me to heal one of those guys! // what kind of medicine?

clean water. 82 degree water. 2 gal. min. half a tbsp of aquarium salt per gallon of water. and love.

Poor guys . The bettas at my petco look like that too most of the time. Not only do they have fin rot but the BF is in need of some noms. He's way to thin.

iis the aquarium salt the same as sea water salt ( non-iodized)??

they should sell it at the pet store as aqaurium salt.
