How many females?

I may be getting a 32 gallon tank soon, and I was wondering how many female bettas I could have in there.

I was also wondering, I hear snails are good for keeping tanks cleaner. Is this true? If so, what type of snails could I keep with female bettas
?

snails...i heard they make more dirt then they clean up. as for the girls, go about 1.5 to 2 gal per female. so about 15-16 females. that would be an awesome tank !

aqadviser isn't really good for stocking purposes, only for compatibility checks. Believe me, LOL, I followed there stocking guidelines and got totally screwed up!

Just be prepared to have a place to put your girls incase of bullying. Not all females are going to get along and it's not uncommon for females to injure or even kill each other. Lots of hiding places is important. Getting spawn siblings would be your best bet.
