Question Breeding tank

Hi i have a 20 gal breeding tank (with every thing in it
and a 10 gal holding tank for my bettas (which is 4 females and 2 Males )
I was just wondering if this is a good idea
And yes the males will be in housing units in the tank
So is this a good set up and will it work for the fry when they come

Not really. 4 females is tiny for a sorority... 6 plus is the minimum IMO and also a ten gal is way too smal for a sorority IME unless heavily planted.

You would be better off putting the sorority in the 20 and the males in the 10 (divided of course) and then getting another 10 to spawn in and anothet 20 or 30 gallon for growout. Not to mention you need heaters for all of these and sponge filters for the fry tanks. You allso need lots of jars to house fry when they're older.
