Finding Good Sand

Where can i find black sand that wont cloud up the water very easily.

Petsmart carried heavy black sand... The sand particles are slightly larger than normal sand. I've heard that it doesn't cloud the water or get stuck in filters as easily as normal sand.

I love black sand in the aquarium and looked around a lot before settling on CaribSea Tahitian Moon Sand (for saltwater and freshwater aquariums). It used to be that you had to buy it online at Drs. Foster & Smith or some other specialty fish store. It turns out that DFS only sells the marine aquarium version now. You can buy the one suitable for freshwater fish at PetSmart now. It's a very rich black. I've used it many times over the years.
