Exclamation Leaving the hobby for a while...

Well I've thought this through, and I think I'm going to get out of betta breeding/keeping for a while. I just don't have the time for the water changes etc. So I will be listing all my breeding stock and MG fry on Aquabid as soon as my computer's internet gets fixed. Maybe sometime in the future I'll get back into it again. But for the time being I think I'm just going to set up a community tank for the living room. So yeah be on the lookout for my auctions soon (Jog_bettas). Also, thank you guys in this forum for all the help and information you've given me. I'll be sure to keep checking in on you guys.

Where do you live?? I might be able to house one of your fish (: Just depends on shipping and purchasing costs.

I get it, though. Sometimes it just gets overwhelming. Good luck on your community!

I know how you feel. Especially with the disease that's taken over in my household I'm tempted to leave the hobby too.
I'm down to one sick fish, and hopefully she'll be healed up soon... Unfortunately if she does make it I probably won't be adding her back into the sorority... She's been severely damaged to the point where I don't think she'd be able to fight off the others if a situation arose.
Anyway what I'm trying to say is I might be interested in a female soon, especially if they need homes ASAP. Let me know what the pricing would be like, so I can figure something out, k?

Aw, Beat, that sucks. :( I hope you'll still poke around the forum from time to time. I understand that sometimes these things have to happen, though....

I live in Arizona, are in in Northern or South Cali? I might be making a trip out there over the summer, (June or July-ish) if you have any left on your hands. It's not confirmed, but if I do, I might have a sorority running by then and might be able to take a couple girls. If not, maybe a male.
