The Petsmart that I moved close to recently is selling a pair of white doves, and they're so sweet that I can't stop thinking about them!
I've been doing some research on dove care and they sound like great birds. I'd love to get a pair eventually, though maybe two females if possible as they seem to breed quite readily.
I highly doubt my parents will allow me to buy a pair, but it's nice to fantasize at this point...
My dad used to own canaries that we kept in the basement. Our vasement is unfinished, but there's the framing for the bathroom up. What my dad did was he put netting all around it and made a little room for the canaries to fly around in, it was really nice. I'm sure we could make it again if I did get the doves. :)
Does anyone have any doves? Anything you want to share?
