I went shopping today &....

Came home with 2 blue mystery snails and a new betta . The snails were on my list the betta was not. Petsmart is still having their sale on bettas and I just couldn't pass this guy up for a $1.99. He is a pastel dalmation. He has had a case of finrot in the past but has new growth. I'm going to go ahead and treat him for a few days just be sure. He is currently in his QT with some salt & oak leaf tannins. The snails who I've dubbed "snork" & "snook" are aready at home nomming on some algae waffers. One is each side of my divided tank. So far Figment is leaving his alone. So here a couple photos...

It's official one if not both of "snooks" antenne are now gone . Darn you Figment!

Well I decided to let him out of his cup. I felt bad for him, who knows how long he's been in the one at the store. With good clean water his previous finrot should stay at bay. Here are some photos of him in his tank. His color doesn't pick up well. He's more white in real life.
