So I went to walmart and was looking through the betta and came across this TINY female and was shocked at her size. Picked her up and she flared at me...hmmm upon closer examination I noticed..no egg spot sooo I realized HE! probably flared at me cause HE was sick and tired of being called a girl!!!! I said dont worry little man I'll take you home and give you the proper respect you deserve so into the cart he went hes the smallest betta ive ever seen his entire body length in from the tip of my rather short nails to the first bend in the thumb so we decided to make up for lost time we would give him a very manly name Manley Stanley! Does anyone have a guesstimate about what age he might be at this tiny size?
I have a tiny boy too, Bugsy. He's a little bit bigger than your boy, but not by much. In Bugsy's case, he may have been the runt of the spawn. It looks like Stanley is a juvie still, and has a lot of growing to do.
he is sooooooo funny to omg he cracks me up i gave him a bettamin flake and you know those are small and hes like OMG A FLYING SAUCER it was huge to him...im going to try to get a pic of him beside a ruler but hes FAST ive never had a baby before hes SOO SMALL that i have him in a one gallon and he gets lost in his plant
lol so Manly does NOT like my mom she came up the his tank and put her finger against the glass and he FLARED and backed up then hid in his plant..shes like well FINE I had to bribe him to get him out with food
So manly has GROWN! wow hes gotten so big i just cant believe it hes the first juvie ive ever had and hes growth is amazing! he was upgraded to a big boy tank today so i took some new pics hes REALLY intrested in his new cave
