to rename or not?

so heres the dog im going to look at on the weekend, he is an 18month old purebred blue heeler, he is deaf.
CURRENTLY they call him Stormy but im not sure if i like the name.
so ill put a few names on a poll and you can all vote on the ones u like

PS: we have three other dogs and a cat:
Austin, Sparky, Gus and Simba
then all my fish (see sig)

NB: I havent got him yet but will prob get him. Shes bringing him to be viewed on sunday if i cant get down to him before that.

I dunno i think im leaning more towards Cooper, Dusty or Axel and normally i wouldnt change a pets name but cause hes deaf he cant hear it any way.

hes going to be more of a challenge for me with his being deaf for his training, at least i can sympathize seeing as i have rather poor hearing in my left ear we can be deaf together lol

Personally I think the name he has is cute...But maybe a new name would be better for him. I like Axel but what about something like Hurricane or Twister? I can get why they called him Stormy though. He looks like a storm cloud.

I heard with deaf dogs they can learn to understand sign languege. (I read a story about a girl who taught her dog how to understand it and used a fan to wake her up instead of patting her on the head.)

I wish you luck with him. He's adorable I love his grin.

well its going to be a challenge teaching him but i pretty much use hand signals for everything with our other pup. and i am always being growled at by my boyfriend for stomping, im just a heavy walker so theres no worry about me startling him lol.

im thinking Cooper or Dusty i have to pick a name my bf will like too. the pure bred staffy pup we wanted to call diesel but his dads dog so he called him Gus:

the first is Gus at 6 weeks old (bout October 9th)
then Gus just before Christmas
