Too many horses. Time for a combo-breaker post.

Legend in order from left to right:
- Simba: the best dog who ever lived. Period. He was a 8 year old pomeranian that we adopted who lived to be 13 when we had him put to sleep because of an enlarged heart, broken hip, and other medical issues that were discovered upon taking him to the vet. I miss him like no other.

- Scooter: the most annoying but also most playful dog ever. I can't wait to get him back from my parents. Kind of Simba's successor.

-Navi's Bath Time: Navi is a trash digging little black cat, oh yes she is. Daddy gave her a bath and she was not a happy kitty. She still hasn't learned her lesson about digging in the trash. 8>

- Navi's mouth. Not much else needs to be said. :>

- Navi enjoys little cubbies, boxes, holes, anything that she can fit herself into. Typical stupid cat. I love her. My fiance and I got her as a kitten from a local pet store who only sells rescue animals. She's been our little love child ever since.

- Nayru's 'Innocence': My *** she's innocent. She barfed and she knows it.

- Nayru's Nap Time: Sleepy kitty all cuddled in the bed for a nice nap. Nayru was adopted from a local shelter last year at the age of 6. She'd been there the longest and was on 'death row' so to speak. :(

Thanks! The bay that I ride is Louie, the gray Arab is Cotton and the rolling pony is Blaze. Also, the appaloosa behind Louie in one picture is Rocky.

How often do they get braided? It seems to leave a natural wave in their hair when it's off. I really want to know about horses they are my favorite mammals well almost they rank up to a dog with me and a dogs my fav. so they both are the best! Do you know of any good websites I could learn more about them?

Well we only braid for shows (or sometimes I braid when I ride if I have time since Louie has a long mane and my hands can get tangled in it) but during the summer I sometimes do just thick long "Pipi Longstocking" braids when he's turned out to keep him cool. Those are the ones that I did for the jumping portion of our farm's student show (in the second jumping picture) although I don't know if you can tell. Normally for the jumping in real shows I do a lattice/diamond braid since the braids I showed you don't stay in for jumping as well. The braid I use for dressage (the one I posted) is called a Dutch braid and is a variation of a running braid which is like french braiding down their neck. You can only do those on horses with long manes, and I won't get in to all the other braids since there's so many! If you want to see them all just google "horse mane braids" and go to images. Sorry I know you didn't ask to know all this but you got me going about braiding so...sorry again haha. Also, I don't know about any websites off the top of my head but I'm sure you could find something on Google.
