Does she swim around at all? Does she look really bloated like she's full of air? She may have some problems with her swimbladder. I'll do some quick checking and see what can be done.

Is your female alone in the tank? If she is, then raise the temperature of her tank to about 84 degrees farenheit. If she is not alone, move her to a small tank of her own and raise the water temperature. Right now, that is the best thing you can do for her. Swimbladder problems can be serious, unfortunately, so make sure her water is very clean and warm and that her tank is some place quiet. Can you post more details about her symptoms and what her behavior is?

Do you have a heater in the tank? If so, make sure the temperature is at least 80 degrees farenheit. If not, you need to get a heater. Have you checked the water to see what the ammonia levels are?

So there are only 2 girls in the tank? Is there a divider? If not, you have to separate them immediately! Two girls cannot be kept together, you have to have more (think 5+ for safety). For now, get the sick girl into a different tank.

You got her in the mail? How did you acclimate (adjust) her and for how long?
