Question Questions!

1) I have AIL in a whole leaf, when should I put it in the water? (I plan to throw my pairin 10-12 days from now.)

2) Can I use my usual water conditioner or will that effect the eggs/fry?

3) What brand of anti-bacterial stuff should I get to prevent fungus in the fry, and when/ how often should I use it?

I really appreciate every answer I get, as they make me more prepared. (: Thank you guys in advance.

IAL takes care of conditioning the water and the anti- bacteria and fungal stuff.

2) Can I use my usual water conditioner or will that effect the eggs/fry? answer:Yes (Yes I should, or yes it would be bad for the fry?)

3) What brand of anti-bacterial stuff should I get to prevent fungus in the fry, and when/ how often should I use it? answer: IAL is the best ant-fungal stuf you can have! (And this will prevent fungus in the eggs?)

1) I'd probably set it up with just a week to go before spawning. You want your water aged but letting it sit out for a long time can bring other issues. Yep, you just throw in the leaf, pretty simple :)
2) You should use a water conditioner, it won't hurt the fry.
3) The IAL should prevent fungus. Some breeders suggest using Aquarium Salt at the normal 1tsp/gal but IAL is a better alternative.
