Same and I also look to my betta's behavior for how warm it is. If their too hyper I'll check the temp if their sluggish the same.

laughing, I just bought this 5 gallon tank from Wal-Mart a couple of weeks ago and so far I really like it. I don't have a fish in it yet because it's still cycling but I don't forsee any problems with it. It got really good reviews on walmart.com.

It was only $29 at my local Wal-Mart and it comes with the filter, hood and light. It's also glass, not acrylic which I think is pretty cool. It also looks so much bigger than the average 5 gallon hex.

Littlebittyfish, did you have to put a baffle on your filter? I can't tell if the current seems too strong or not.

I wish it would hurry up and finish cycling, I can't wait to get a new boy....or girl.

I use an aquarium sponge rubber banded in front of the outtake.

The hex is impossible to really see into because of the million sides to it, and it is acryllic and is years old so it is all cloudy, and it looks ridiculously small compared to "normal" 5 gallons. >.<

It won't let me check the link. D;

Oops, sorry about the link.

See if this one works: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Tetra-Aqua...-Pets/12177653

It's actually a few dollars cheaper in the store so if you have a Wal-Mart nearby, I would check to see if they have any in stock.
