Pre-Spawn Log! :D

May 28th:

As of now my lovely Crowntail betta pair have been conditioning for one week, and I have set the spawning date for next friday after school. Both the male and female (Simbad & Unnamed)are getting daily water changes and are being fed frozen bloodworms twice a day; I think I'll bump it up to three times come wensday.

Also my fry food cultures have been ordered, and I hope to have them in by wensday as well...

After doing some interweb surfing, it looks like I can expect to get mostly Black Devils out of this spawn. ^^ They are pretty cool if the coloring is neat..Fingers crossed.

Thanks guys! Today I added the IAL and live plants as well as a Mystery Snail. I conditioned the water, and have it heating to the proper temp. As long as the Vinegar eels & BBS get here soon I still plan on spawning this friday. (:

I'm thinking I'll let Simbad in the tank friday morning, and start showing him my girl when I get home friday afternoon...Or should I put them both in that morning? (With the female in her vase) 'Cause I'll be getting home from school at about 1:30, so they won't be alone for too long..
