Urgent!

I just got m AB male. Was in the mail less than 2 days. He isn't moving and his water was super warm, is there any possibility he is just in shock?? Or is he dead..

What can I do?!

Can you see his gills moving at all or anything? Ive never ordered online sorry, but i read the guidelines are strict regardless if hes not dead hes not in good health so unless you really want him bad id just email the pic =/

I can't bate to look at him...

His fins are open wide, though. I mean you know when a fish dies they get all floppy and float around and are limp? He isn't like that! It looks like he is flaring! And when I moved around the bowl and caused water disruption he didn't move... Normally with my dead fish they go with wherever the current goes. He still has really vibrant colors, too

did you acclimate him properly? Your water and the water he's used to could be very different, especially if he's from overseas.

I opened the package like that and his water was so warm and I panicked and threw him (not literally) into the prepared bowl with moneywort to see if he was alive and nothing yet...@

No. Not moving. I am assuming no movement at all the past half hour I can safely say he is dead...?

Try to see if his gills are moving if you can, he could be in a very bad shock possibly? If they move at all then put him in something very low so he can get air easy =/ Doesnt sound too good though sadly.
Edit: I looked it up but all i could find was that when this happens (over heated) they usually die with their gills open. =/
