Mini CFL question on lighting

I found a 3 gallon acrylic tank at a thrift store last week...It came with a little hood light. The only problem I am having is finding a light for it..Right now there is a tiny Incandescent light in there..Pretty small...It looks like an appliance light..Toaster oven or something......I hate the way it makes the tank look...I would like to put a different light in there if I can...

The lighting case has this on it:
Rating: AC
120V 60 HZ 5W
Type C
(It also states not to put a light over 5 watts)

I was wondering if anyone knows if they even make CFL lights that small...I would love to have live plants in this little tank eventually, but I left them out for now as I haven't been able to find a CFL light that small yet..

This may be a long shot but..If I cant find a CFL...Will moss gross under incandescent lighting?

I may end up just pitching that light attachment and using a desk light maybe....If I cant find a CFL that will work..

Cool

The moss might turn brown and dye on you. 5 watts isn't very much light and I don't think I've ever seen a 5w CF. If you do decide to ditch it and want another aquarium light, I would recommend this one.

They are $8 plus shipping and you can use 10w screw-in CF bulbs. I have 3 of them. I have had 1 for nearly 2 years, and it still works perfect. I ordered mine when I had to order other stuff, so shipping wasn't really a problem. and they were cheaper than most desk lamps, lol.

That is perfect! I had no idea they made those for 2.5 gallon tanks! I might get one of those...Turns out the little light just went out on it... oh well..it was 3 dollars... I will probably buy that or just get a desk clamp light ...Cant wait to get something to light it up so I can add some live plants!
