difference betwen keep males vs females?

any major differences ?

might be getting one female in the next couple of months, probably going to keep her in the one gallon that jaws is in now, as he is moving up to a 10 gallon with fishy roomate

do they require any special treatment?

They can still BITE. I had a sorority at one point a while ago and I put my hand in to move a decoration when one of them bit me on the soft side of my elbow and held on when I pulled my arm out of the water! Evil fish...

But yeah. Feed less I guess? Depends on the size of course, but they tend to be smaller.

They do jump more, move faster, and bite at my hands more. Girls are so cute in their curious hyper ways :)) The major difference ive had is that my female has eggs and its hard to tell if shes bloated or filling with eggs.
