So my mom and her boyfriend went fishing this weekend and they just got back home to find two turtle eggs in the back of his truck. We looked around and found the turtle in some bushes. My mom's boyfriend left so he's coming back to get it tomorrow to put it in his pond along with the eggs. Right now we have the turtle in a sterilite tote in the garage so it didn't run off and the dogs don't get it.
The turtle fell about 5 feet when it climb out of his truck and there was blood all over it's head and the opening of it's shell. I'm just wondering what to do now. Does it need anything in the tote with it? Can we put the top of the container on so it doesn't escape? Obviously it can climb out of the back of a truck so we don't want it in the garage because that's full of stuff too.
