This is from a few months ago, but it looks basically the same (although the anubias in the corner suddenly started growing and is now massive).

I <3 this ...

What are the tall plants at the back?

Altho I have changed the decor a bit now, there are driftwood on both sides with java moss on it, no more java ferns, and the plants and terracotta pots have been moved. Had to change since my one boy is tailbiting :(

This is Wilbur my sister's betta, he passed away not to long ago. I think she over fed him way to much.

Here is my halfmoon Ares and his ten gallon, he has 5 albino cories as tank mates and a few ghost shrimp. He is a tail biter too.

Thanks. :) It looks better with the algae clip out of it and the peas cleaned up. :P I'll post updated pictures in a while.

I literally just discovered this (as in, this is an edit to this post :P) but the two plants in the back are actually both cryptocoryne spiralis. If you look in that photo, you can see two distinct plants with different leaf shapes (one has short, broad leaves that reach above the surface, the other has long, ribbon-like leaves that drift below the surface). This is because the one farthest to the right (with leaves above the surface) was grown emersed. Now that it has adjusted, it dropped all the emersed leaves and switched to the long, ribbon-y ones. Took a few months.
