my parents have talked about making fb accounts a couple of times, and I'm so glad they haven't managed to figure it out yet, because I'd really rather not have them see some of the type of joking I do with my friends, think they'd be really confused by it, lol. I do have some family members as fb friends, but seeing as the whole family hasn't been informed about the fact that one of my cousins is gay (he's out on fb, but not to the entire family), think I'm safe, lol

I have had to completely block my whole family from Facebook and block my profile completely. They caused so much trouble. If I said God it was a fight...

Not to mention my bf posts SONGS as his profile status... he has never friended anyone in my family so they 'profile stalked him and read his statuses saying 'Hes talking about your sex life ZOMG!!!!' Really? -.-

I feel sorry about his comments... some people don't think of consequences towards that person. Geez tell him to shut up and block him!! Not to mention, anyone in the world can read what is on your profile... I bet you don't want your business all over!!

By the way, many people experience that 'wild' stage in high school or college. As long aa you've grown up and learned from it, it definitely DOES NOT need to be brought up again!!! D:<

My dad is totally illiterate when it comes to any sort of technology and my mom still thinks facebook is just for young adults. I see no need to correct her.

My parents refuse to get facebook, when I jokingly asked them one time (for sharing pictures)

It's funny and entertaining watching people get into HUGE trouble with parents/grandparents/bosses because of stupid incriminating they put on their profile XD

My kids set me up on facebook.

The problem is, your whole social life does tend to be out there for the world to see. People and situations you just assume leave in the past hunt you down.

I may just pull myself off there. I love to share with my friends and family, but I can do that in many other discreet ways...

My mom is on facebook. I warned her about the repercussions of friending me. Anyone who is my friend on facebook can attest that I rarely hold back what I'm truly feeling, which includes my lovely vocabulary ;-D, anytime my mom tries to chastise me for saying something on facebook I love having the "well where do you think I learned all that" comeback LOL

I can't say anything bad on mine. I have a lot of church members on my fb. lol Not to mention several cousins, one of which is a nosy old bag who would probably love to tell my mom stuff.

@1f2f: Sadly that excuse won't work for me, my parents, while they do have colourful language, took care not to say it around me when I was younger. They still try not to, but my dad tends to get a bit colourful. My mom doesn't curse unless it's something really bad, and she generally disapproves of it.

I get into loads of trouble if I say something particularly bad X_X

Oh goodness, my facebook (as some of you know) isnt quite for the faint of heart...LOLOL ^~^; No family, aside from my similarly aged (good friends) cousins are on there...I do facebook "purges" all the time, and if I dont know the person well or cant remember the last time we spoke in person (if applicable), then theyre gone!

My family requests me constantly, but...You live with me. You dont need to see my fb ;P
