I'm sorry angelic, funerals are hard. Especially if its for a child.
So I actually got to talk to the doctors first hand and I know exactly what happened and what it going on.
Mom was at the beach with my cousin when she said she didn't feel good and proceeded to pass out while they were in the water. My cousin dragged her to the beach. When she got to the hospital they did a CT and saw a mass the size of a grapefruit on her ovary. When they went in to remove it they then found that it wasn't a tumor, that an artery had ruptured and it was a massive hemotoma (blood that is outside of the vein and absorbed into the muscle?). Once they dealt with that (several hour long surgery) they did a second scan and found a second one (in operable) in her back. They have to wait and monitor her to hope that it is reabsorbed into the bloodstream, but not cause a clot (where its located could be fatal). She is on some medication right now that is 10x stronger than morphine for the pain.
She will be hospitalized for a minimum of 4-5 days, bed rest for the next month after that.
