Wish me luck!

I'm kinda excited. Today we're going to the fish store, and I'm planning to buy a new tank for Percy. It's gonna be around the 8-10 gallon range, and I'm gonna have a stab at a planted setup.

I've been adding everything up, working out costs etc, and it's gonna use up all my money (no pond project this summer lol). But I think it's worth it. I can't wait to see how happy Percy is when he is netted out of the shabby, rubbishy tank he's in now and into a larger, planted tank!

Goodbye, 3 gallon tank with a bad algae problem!

Hehe.

It's all set up now! Just waiting for the camera batteries to charge and I'll post some pictures. It's a brilliant tank, amazing value for money, although the filter supplied with it is a little noisy so I just used the one I have.

The tank is 6 gallons, just the right size. It was a cinch to set up.

Coolness! Congrats on your new tank. Your betta will have lots of room to swim and play. :)

OK, I will post the pictures on the Betta Tank Pictures thread. (You know, the one at the top on the 'Betta bowls, tanks and accesories' section.

He's so much happier, he loves swimming around the plants and stuff.

Thanks! Anyone can get their tank looking like mine, it was easy and not at all expensive!
