Finally took some pictures of my 2 fish :D

Ok, so I took a couple of pictures of my little mushi (I call all my bettas mushi and haven't come up with separate names really for either one yet).

Anyway, the blue one is a doubletail from petco. I've had him for 3 months now. He has some pretty big fins!

My second fish I got from pets plus living in a cup smaller than the ones I use to get urine samples in . He had no color to him, fin rot, and pop eye. He is really starting to get color to him now and his crowntail rays are starting to fork out. His body went from white to purplish and his fins are turning blue and red. I think he might have trouble with his eye though (stupid chronic pop eye). My mom calls him Popeye the Sailorman.

Hope you liked my pictures! I also updated my avatar!

Your blue boy is especially gorgeous. I'm such a sucker for dark blues.. I wish you luck with your crowntail. He'll be beautiful once you get him totally back up to snuff.

Thank you both! The crowntail has made some great progress since I had him. The poor little guy's back was bent cause he was in such a small cup. I wasn't planning on getting a second betta... but I saw him among the dead fish and couldn't leave him when I looked into his eyes. He was a sympathy purchase... I did tell the people at the store that their fish were sick and dead, but I don't think they really cared. Just glad this little boy is better at least.
