A few weeks ago I had bought some platys, but they all died except for one because of parasites. :( Anyway, I realized for some reason my platy ADORED my little sister, so I gave him to her. Yesterday she wanted to get him a friend because he was lonely... ANYWAY.
We went to Big Als, and I was looking around at the other fish they had. At what did I find in a tank? A female betta sorority!!! My local Big Als NEVER carries females, and lo and behold here was a huge tank filled with them! And this one little girl kept catching my eye. She would stay at the front of the tank and stare at me, "Pick me, PICK ME". I'd walk away for a minute, and come back, and she would rush to the front of the tank, pushing past the bigger girls. She's tiny, but she's got attitude. I think she will be good friends with my other female betta, Little Red. She was the smallest one in there, and she looks like she was beaten up quite a bit by the biggest girls in there. So she's with me at home now, in quarentine getting over a bit of fin rot caused by the beatings, and then she is going into my sorority!
Enough chit-chat. Here she is!
I fed her a few freeze-dried bloodworms, and she LOVED them.

Not sure what to name her yet. So if you have any suggestions let me know!
