How come you guys don't have a wikia?

I mean, there's no good, organized wiki/wikia about betta care! This website is awesome and has lots of advices and everything, so how come you guys never organized all this data all of you have and put into an wiki website?

I mean, like if someone has a problem for example popeye,

they can check the wiki saying about the problems. how to cure and etc while they wait for personal responses for the problems on the forum (here)

I was thinking in organize it all, I don't mind doing it later on and get like the site start being useful for tomorrow, although I'm busy tomorrow, but I created the link, now is just to work on it. xD

I have a betta wiki (somewhere) with a little info on it and plans to add more soon and I believe another member is working on a caresheet project with comprehensive information that may turn into a wiki.

I personally am not one to trust wiki anything because any dumb person can make one and say whatever they want.

just as a test, but yeah, the thing about everyone editing it made me rethink about it, I will check if I can set everything as private so we can have editors manually. xD

Wikis may not be entirely reliable but if it's members adding information and we have 'top dogs' so to speak keeping things in check, it could certainly prove to be a wealth of information for those who are looking for it. Wikis are subjective. They're open format and anyone can contribute. It's part of the beauty of it, imo.

All information on the internet could be deemed unreliable. This whole forum could be deemed unreliable and questionable. So what? It's still informative and useful. Anything anyone reads on the net should be taken with healthy skepticism. I'd say go for it. Just make it a team effort.

As I mentioned in the caresheet project post I will double it here, don't get me wrong, this is a great idea, but having so many people with different writing styles will get extremely chaotic, the website will have to work on a "submission" basis and have several top writers to actually post them in layman's terms so everybody can understand. :P
