Slime on new anubias nana?

Hi guys. I have an anubias nana sitting in a QT cup right now. I disinfected it with a mild bleach solution a few days ago and have kept an eye on it to make sure it's still healthy. I did not dip the rhizome in.

It's very green and lush, but I noticed there are clumps of transparent slime/mucus growing on a few of the roots and the rhizome. What is this? Should I not add the plant to my tank?

This is my first plant besides a marimo moss ball so I have no idea what it is.

Try and remove it!

Are you sure its slime? Mine get this fuzzy stuff on them sometimes, but it is very happy and quite healthy (long-term tank inhabitant).
