black fire fry from NIB BETTA :D

My new fry were looking pretty good today so I decided to post a few pics of the ones who have colored up really nicely :D

First here's how they looked when they arrived, all stripey and stressed.


This black copper colored up the fastest and is now pretty amazing looking. I decided to let him flare today and he had a little tiny beard XD it was pretty cute.... looking at this it's hard to believe he looked similar to the pic above.


Here you can see the beard peaking out if the bottom a little, this was the best photo I could get....



Here's one of the black fires :D I think he is a male too because he has a little mini beard, but I don't remember if females have mini beards or not lol



I also have a marble who I'm betting will turn out to be a female, he/she is super cute, but then again they all are lol


I wasn't planning to use it until they where bigger, but I have a 10g I'm buying the materials to divide for four of the fry (The other two are in a divide 2.5g)

Females do have mini beards. Both of mine do. They can flare just like males.

The second one is definitely female (at least for now.. they can change sometimes). I can see her ovaries. I think the third might be a female but I can't really tell from that angle.

The second and third look like females to me..but the first im not so sure...

So cute! The second one already has an egg spot so guessing female. The other 2 could still go either way, but the first one screams "male" to me :D
