Kitty Quirks Thread

I love my bettas and they're full of surprises, but no pet I've had to date (and I've had many) compares to the quirks my kitties have given me the past three years.

And thusly, I would like to dub this the 'kitty quirk' sharing thread.

Nayru enjoys sitting in the middle and taking up the whole bean bag despite it being 5 feet across.


Navi's comfort is #1 priority. She must cool those furballs directly on the AC.


Such a hard, over worked life my felines lead.


Navi enjoys fish-watching more than mommy does and is often caught sitting on the hood of the fish tanks. Here, she watches Ralis in a QT tank when I first got him.


Frankly this picture just amuses me...


My computer chair came deluxe with the kitty headrest option.


Nayru 'died'. She then came back reanimated as a zombie. This happens every few hours or so.

This is Debo...He is sitting in my nephews chair...He is pretty sure HE is the baby... (he is to me) I brushed him yesterday and got off a basketball of hair..no lie... I am always shocked at how much hair comes off him when i'm brushing him...Where does it all come from..and how is he not bald!?


This is Destiny. I found her under a storage shed behind a store when she was a baby. Her eyes were sealed shut with infection.She is sweet and sassy...She is a typical cat...She only likes to be hugged and petted when she wants to be hugged and petted....or cat treats are involved...

I live near a busy road...So I don't let my cats outside unless they're on a harness... I'm pretty sure the neighbors think i'm nuts...

This morning I went into the bathroom and as she typically does she followed me in. Then she sat in her litter. No pee, no poop. Just sat. For five minutes. In the litter. .___.

My kitteh is the funniest. If you throw her toy, she will go OVER any object it flies over. So I have a video of her sailing over the sofa. I have seen her jumping over the treadmill, soaring over beds, nothing can get in her way, mwahahah!

I wish I could dig up pictures of my male.. He liked to fetch. o.O Especially bottle caps. You got a fresh bottle of water, he'd be sittin' all up on ya until you gave him the cap. >.< Then you threw it over his head, and he'd back flip off the bed/couch. Then chase after it, pick it up, and retrieve it... :3

When we moved to the apartment, we had to give them to a relative. And I told them the male liked to hind behind the washing machine. He disappeared. Guess who was behind the washing machine?? Then he decided to "run away" for a week. Yeah, he was just hiding out in the neighbors yard... Silly kitteh. <33

I could tell you sooo many weird quirks they have. They're insane, but I love the little buggers!
