HM + VT = Super delta?

I have done i before I bred a HM to a petco labeled "veiltail female" and to my surprise I got super delta's... and some delta's a fungus ran through and wiped out the only male I had before I could get photo's this was years ago... I took the last remaining female and bred her to another HM and got a second batch of fry all but one who died in transportation, the little guy seems stunted by his/ her transport. But the point is how likely that this would happen again or did I just get lucky and get a female with delta in her genes? I dont have the money to get a a aquabid female anytime soon. Right now I have a whiteish HM and a black/ red copper super delta and a yellow HM plakat. However the only girls I have are one blue CT one multi colored CT a mixed color DBT and a red orange VT. What would you choose? I have always wanted to try half suns or combtails but I have heard they are complicated and I really want to try another super delta / HM spawn. Any ideas?
