I'd dam that sucker up a little bit on the intake with either some saran wrap or some fake plants :B Thats some serious stuckage.

nah just looks like it, really, that female actually tries to do that on purpose, she keeps rubbing her "big butt" on the filter, if it doesn't suck her she will try again until it does, then she stays in there for like 30secs then leave with no harm done... Although I only saw her doing it like 2-3 times :P

And that's just her, really, the snails, the other female, the shrimps, none had any problem related to that, that's just her "massage" LOL!

Today I spammed on one of my snails... So if you are ever thinking in buy one, that's why they are so awesome :P

I will post them out of the sequence because I want to show you this:

I was thinking in remove those brown spots that were appearing because I thought it was bacteria.. I still think it is, but the snail found a better solution for my problem... She ate it, I thought the marks were strange until I take pics of her eating on close-up;

I really don't want a snail "licking" my hand any soon >_>! (yep those are tongues :V)

That's her being fat and soon not being able to go into her favourite spot (inside the skull)

then tripping over:

Also, can you see the line mark?

That's how much she has grown since she got here,that's a lot really ;3

And tell me, isn't this gorgeous?

I love her big-fat shell ;3

Sillycone, my one boy does the same thing, except he goes to sleep there, fins spread out! He does it a few times a day. Now he is on the other side of the tank and he is sleeping wrapped around the heater! He is just being silly. . .

My big VT girl used to like to get sucked onto the intake of her filter.

At first I thought she was in trouble, but then she was doing it once a day... for fun. She'd get right up to the intake cage get sucked onto it, and hang there for 15 seconds or so, then break the suction and swim away.

I'm thinking it has something to do with female bettas getting hugged during mating... and the suction being like a hug... :\

Only the betta knows for sure!

Well I'm using this one here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-PowerS...7657900&sr=1-1

We have it for a few years now, it's starting to get weird if I zoom much, but it's the cheapest camera in the highest rank in the amateur level almost starting on the real professional ones. :P

There's also this one here that we have, I would share pictures with it but I'm afraid we lost the battery charger and we are still to find it. :P

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-Lu...7657994&sr=1-1

But it also takes lovely pictures and it's way cheaper :P

But I promise you when I find the charger I will take some pics for you =]

If that helps that's a picture from that camera like a month ago in Berlin;
