bugs?

Hi,
Are pill bugs and mites safe for bettas to eat?

Booklice. They look like little white walking pieces of sand. I've got a ton in my hermit crab terrarium.

Drop one in there, see if he / she likes it. I assume bugs have varying tastes and we know Betta's have taste buds with some of ours being picky eaters.

My male attacks spiders....absolutely can't get enough of em. Caught some weird looking fly and dropped em in there over the weekend, did not like it at all. Took a peck and left it alone so I scooped the fly up in a spoon and dropped it in the sorority tank where he soon became a meal

Thanks! And anyone know about meal worms? I dropped one in and he attacked it but didn't eat it.

Water scooters or water skaters . . . can't think of the real name, but they're leggy things that are on the surface of the water. They sting. I imagine anything that stings probably isn't good for a betta so no bees.
