Is three gallons too small for a single ghost shrimp to live with a crowntail?

I figure Kai's pretty small so he wouldn't really be able to have a shrimp snack....Would it be possible to keep a single ghostie in with him?

I'll of course do more research but I do waterchanges on his tank frequently.

I suppose you can if you increase water changes, but you should get at least 3 or your betta will pick on that one to death....I don't suggest adding any companions to anything under 5 gallons though since they will stress one another.

Okay thanks for replying. I probably won't but I was very curious as Kai seems to have endless energy. (I would have called the shrimp trio the Zydrate Brigade if I could get him some to pal around with but I'm not sure how he'd react too well. I know Akira's out of the question he's constantly out for blood. Hopefully in his new tank he'll mellow out.)
