Pop-eye gone to...no eye? O__O;

So I posted a thread here a while ago about my boyfriends betta having pop-eye. Weell I just checked on her and her eye is like...inside her skull? O_O; It's really freaky. She doesn't seem bothered by it, but it's just freaking me out. And no matter what I tell my bf, he never listens to me.... >< Also take note that this IS NOT MY BETTA. She's at his place, not mine.

Housing
What size is your tank? 2 gal
What temperature is your tank? 75 F - ish
Does your tank have a filter? No
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? No
Is your tank heated? No
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? None

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? Betta Pellets
How often do you feed your betta fish? 2x's a day- 2 pellets in the morning and 2 at night.

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? No clue. I think he changes it once a week? (I got so mad) :P
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 100%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? Aqua Safe water conditioner.

Water Parameters:
Have you tested your water? If so, what are the following parameters? No

Ammonia: N/A
Nitrite: N/A
Nitrate: N/A
pH: N/A
Hardness: N/A
Alkalinity: N/A

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? Her eye is basically completely dead looking and 'sunken' into her head.
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? Not that I know of.
When did you start noticing the symptoms? 10 min. ago.
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? Just did a 100% water change.
Does your fish have any history of being ill? Not that I know of.
How old is your fish (approximately)? Maybe a year?

I just gave her clean water- her bowl was nasty looking. :/
I realize that my bf is always busy with school...but it only takes 10 min. to change her water....I don't understand how he doesn't have 10 min. to spare to do so. :/
----------------
:::Edit:::

I just noticed that she also has clamped fins now. :/

Generally a Betta will be fine with one eye...they adapt, however, unless she start getting better care a secondary infection may set in and that could kill her....but you know this.... too bad your Bf doesn't.......

I would go ahead an start aquarium salt 2tsp/gal treatment on her along with 100% daily water changes....it is best to QT in a smaller container for treatment....easier to observe and make the water changes with correct dosage of salt....but-it may be easier to get it done in the display tank for the BF......and if you treat in the 2gal I would do 2tsp/gal aquarium salt with 50% daily water changes with 100% at least weekly..being sure to add the salt back that was removed to maintain a therapeutic dose for 7 days...then try to get him to make at least twice weekly water changes 1-50% and 1-100% thereafter...good luck.........

Thanks so much OFL! Yeah..I'm worried that she might get an infection :/ He keeps saying "oh she's fine, no I did a water change yesterday!" <- when obviously he didn't...the water is all yellow D: blech.

I'll start the salt treatment now and see if she doesn't get better. I'll be here until Sunday- so I can do it myself until then. I'll just have to smack him in order for him to do it. :)

Alright, just added the salt.
I gave her 3 pellets to see if she'd eat...she's definitely blind in her left eye.

Hehe, you could always take his betta into "protective custody" and care for her yourself.
