I don't count pellets. I feed until the fish are full and their bellies are nice and round.

So do i (sometimes),but when their bellies get full, i put a mirror in front of them because i heard that if you put a mirror in front of them, they tend to release their waste faster or something like that, or that it helps with bloat.

Yeah, I didn't want to burden my husband with more than six fish while I am gone. Almost broke down on a few of them

Oh I can imagine There are a few fish I have that I'd be devastated if I had to give up.

All the big boys (except Thor) have nice fluffy bubble nests in their tanks. I went and bought them 2.5 gallon glass tanks so they won't have to swim as high to get air but still have plenty of room. I'm going to slowly plant them as I get extra cash here and there.

The funny thing is my husband is upset because I sold one of his favorite fry. So now he wants to pick out another one that is all his. I guess he will have seven fish to take care of.

I bet he will end up taking my fish as his. I drove in from Leavenworth last night and this morning I woke up to find him "looking" for a replacement fry. Once I get settled back in, I'll post pics of the fry I plan on keeping. One is a beautiful butterfly I almost shipped.

anbu- i would not feed an adult betta fewer than 5 atison pro pellets... They are tiny, maybe only 1/3 the size of normal betta pellets. 5 pellets is barely a bite from some larger males. The typical feeding for 1 inch fry is 5 pellets twice per day. Adults should get 8-12 twice daily depending on size and goals (conditioning, growth, basic care)...
