New Betta Owner

Hi I'm new to the hobby and have just ordered my first betta. Can't wait till he arrives!

VERY pretty.. his colors are gorgeous and very vivid. Where did you order him from? Aquabid? I hope the black on the edges of his fins is natural and not fin rot though.. :(

I'm glad everybody likes him. I live in the UK and bought him from a breeder over here who imported him from Thailand, she assures me the black colouring on the edges of his fins is natural and that he is a really healthy betta.

Thanks, I have been reading up on betta care for a few weeks now and have kept tropical fish for about ten years but this is my first betta. I'm sure i will have some questions once he arrives and I am grateful for your offer of help.

Wow. He's adorable! His colors are so rich and vivid. I love it!
Make sure you aclimate him properly when you get him, otherwise you risk death.
