The bettas seem to be doing much better today. The females red marks on her gills are silver now. Her horizontal lines have disappeared and are now vertical lines. They are much more active & happy today!

I'm glad to hear that. Keep watching them, keep up with the water changes, and they'll soon be back on their . . . uh, fins.
