I have my 2 betta girls in a 10 gallon and one of my boys in a 2.5 gallon.. However, my boy is VERY shy.. he's almost always hiding.
I put a girl with him just to see how he'd respond (While sitting there, mind you, and ready to scoop her if he got aggressive) but instead he swam over, flared once or twice, swam around then went and hid..
She was with him for a good 10+ minutes..
I was wondering if it'd be a bad idea to put him in the 10gal with the girls? There's plenty of hiding spots for them..at least 4 or 5.
I know usually males and females shouldn't be together, but this boy is so docile that it made me curious..
