What the fin!?

Of course... my luck.
I have a great day at a Carnival with my GF then just after I bid her Adue... and go up to feed Drax. His tail looks all funky, and gunky!

It's like... "Oh no! Am I a bad Betta Owner?!"

He HATES my new camera btw... it has a little orange light that blinks before it flashes and he darts off when the orange sensory light blinks... it's hard to see it... but parts of his tail are like in shreds. I still have like a dozen more pics if anyone needs more to see.

btw... mention his eye and I shall not be happy >.> WE'VE BEEN OVER IT!

For clearer bigger images... here is the album on Imageshack http://imageshack.us/g/15/img0051pj.jpg/

Hello again, Drax's owner!

A 20% change just a few days ago.

I would do a 50% water change today, and another 50% change a couple days after.

Fresh, clean and conditioned water is good for fin issues... lots of oxygenation... can't hurt.

Watch for additional symptoms. Salt treaments may be necessary (not in the main tank if he has any snails, cory cats or crustations as tankmates).

*Sips tea*
You posted on my thread about his tank mates...
*Sips*
He has none because apparently Drax is a little bully.

I'll add some Epsom salt as well. I havent salted in awhile... (Probably why he's sick)

Alright. There's a plant I want to suck out anyway... thank heavens its the weekend so my dad won't be all. "DON'T TELL ME YOUR GOING TO BE DOING THIS WHILE I'M TRYING TO SLEEP! I GOT WORK TOMORROW!" XP

Being that Drax only has partial sight, he may have found the other creatures in his enviroment... disturbing/threatening. He was probably afraid they'd re-arrange the furniture and watch him trip over it for fun...

Boys have such complicated fin issues! In some ways, they are more fragile than the females...

*Fin Slaps*

He is alone in the tank.

Oh and... I did a 50% cleaning. UGH I need to stop touching the filter media though! Every time I touch it I send a cloud of bacteria into the tank >.<
