Bloodworms/Blackworms

Today I went to the LFS and asked the guy working there if I could have some bloodworms for my betta. I told him I only wanted a few but he gave me live worms in a massive clump with hundreds of them. I read that pet stores commonly mistake bloodworms with blackworms and bloodworms are the red ones. The worms I have are brown. I fead Peewee a few and he loves them. How many should I feed him? Weekly? Daily? And how do I store them? How long will they last? Here's a picture of them in a clump.

Oh and are you supposed to keep them in the fridge?

Wow! That's a lot of worms. My LFS sells bloodworms frozen, not live, so I have no experience with this. (I feed 2-3 worms on Sunday instead of his regular morning pellets. I feed my fish twice a day/ 6 days a week, fast one day.)

Take your cue from how they were stored in the store; did they keep them in a tank or the fridge?

I'm pretty sure they kept them in the fridge at the store, which is where I'm keeping them now. Thanks for the advice! :)

Yes, keep the blackworms in the fridge. Cover them with 1/4" of clean water. If you do regular water changes they should last for weeks.
