Tiki, you'd have to post a pic of Rarity with her/his tail unclamped. The only lesson I know for sure is you can't judge by the length of the anal fin. I have one girl who has a really long anal fin but she's definitely female. If she was a guy, I'd tell her to man up because she keeps getting picked on by the other females.
