You take a net and catch them. Or, if not doing a 100%, just don't take them out. That's what I do.

that was my old method, it never worked for me.

I just net them. But I never do 100% water changes, so I usually don't have to deal with it.

I hope I never have to net Beau my Goldfish. He is huge. Imagine the splashing he can make... He might just smack me in the face.

Oh it's hard to move big goldfish/koi. We moved and moved them to our new pond. Now THAT was difficult! They're each almost a foot long now I'd say

I know, I had a huge 5" Oranda once, I had to buy a special net! But he was too fat to squirm. Beau is really strong.

Hi Jimbo! :D Eggie is in the process of being put back in the sorority. She is eating pellets now (yay!) which she never did before. We will see how it goes because every time I put her in there, she goes back to being sulky... She may need her own tank long term, if she keeps acting that way.

My tore up female is Sparkle. :( She's my pink finned girlie. She got CHUNKS taken out of her fins... most likely from Lula. Lula might need her own tank too cause she keeps taking chunks out of the girls. But Sparkle is badly chewed up and skinny, which makes me think something else might be going on.... She needs some TLC...

Waldo is good, he's alive! I thought he died awhile back cause the algae was spreading in the tank, but now it's clearing up and I actually saw him "out" when he thought I left the room. He hid as soon as he saw me.

UMMMM did you upload pics of your BN? I need to see.
